I'll start by saying the person I originally spoke to on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful he went the extra mile to ensure there would be no errors, he then arranged an appointment quickly for me. Everything he said that would happen, happened.

Anthony was brilliant, he helped me to source a replacement tail gate with glass rather than pay an extortionate amount for a new pane of glass. Mark removed the glass from the tail gate for us and fitted it. Amazing service from start to finish. Thank you both.

Edit: windscreen cracked a week after getting it done (not a chip, a stone didn’t hit can’t see any chip from stones hitting the windshield so no reason for the crack) changing to 4 stars while I’m in communication of resolving this with the company hoping I can change back to 5 stars so far their customer service has been great.
Getting a completely free windshield after some time of investing the crack so very happy with this company kept me in the loop the entire time

Horrendous had glass fitted cracked within 3 days ....sent pictures as couldn't see a stone chip nobody came to inspect it took it somewhere else. Did not tell the new company what had happened to get genuine feedback was told that the glass looked new however hadn't been bonded the side the PRESSURE crack had formed. Avoid these guys go somewhere with a bit of common sense that will honour a bit of warranty.

They fitted a replacement windscreen on Friday and by Sunday afternoon it had fallen apart INSIDE. They tried telling me I wasn't a customer and they had no record of the work then they blamed me for choosing their company to fit an inferior screen and they made no bones about blaming me for paying them to install the glass. According to companies house their business folded several years ago, so what the hell? AVOID THEM - 🤠 COWBOYS

I had my windscreen replaced on Monday, and this was my first experience using ChipsAhoy. I’m pleased to say it won’t be my last. Mark was highly professional throughout, he called ahead to confirm his arrival time and carried out the work efficiently. The service was also very reasonably priced, which is a huge benefit for those without windscreen cover. Although my original appointment was scheduled for Friday, the team contacted me in advance to explain that the windscreen had arrived damaged. They were honest, transparent, and promptly rescheduled the fitting for Monday.

Do not use at any cost. I used this company last year after having my window broken. They arranged an appointment and did not turn up until the 3rd attempt. They fitted the window and it did not work. My mechanic at the time told me that it was not the right window for the car. I tried on numerous occasions to contact them, but no response. I have not had the funds to get it sorted out until now. My current mechanic as confirmed that it is not the correct window. Absolute rip of merchants!!!!!!!!!

Originally called autoglass for a small chip in my windscreen and got quoted something extortionate. Chips ahoy came out for near half the price. Excellent customer service over the phone and Jason the technician was round within the hour of me making the call. He did a superb job!

Don’t fall for this scam!! They are nice over the phone until they get your money, but the professionalism goes trough the window right after that! I’ve booked them for mobile windscreen repair, the guy come the very next day and do the job, I wasn’t around as I was at work and left the car at friend of mine place as he has driveway and his girlfriend works from home. When I went to take my car after work I’ve spotted how poorly the windscreen was fitted from a distance. You can clearly see there is almost no gap between the windscreen and the car roof on 1 side, and big gap on the other side. After I’ve spotted that, I went on to do better inspection only to find the most concerning thing, the VIN number wasn’t visible. Ive texted the right away, but they ignored my message so I call them after 2 days.. after I explain what the issue is, the guy said I’ll get my boss to call you back tomorrow. That never happened, so i call them again. I was again promised a call back from the boss, but again I never heard from them. Gave them another week and contacted them again, that was the third or fourth time I was promised a call back and nothing.. is been 3 weeks now so I don’t think I’m getting that call or the service I was promised..

Contacted these guys as I needed a new screen fitted quickly due to going away. I must admit I was skeptical due to some reviews I had read. Well after specking to a nice guy (Anthony) and giving him the sp. We arranged a day to fit we did have a few issues at first however he went above and beyond to sort these out. I needed the job done at my work place this was not a problem and a great guy (Jason) called me to say he was on the way and within 2hrs my screen was fitted to what I can only describe and a professional job. Forget the not so good reviews these guys really did a great job and Personally if I ever need to use them again I will.

In February of 2025, Paid my deposit and gave them our make, year, model, vin number, and let them know it was a United States import. The technician came out and installed the wrong part while damaging our windscreen worse. They could not resolve the issue over 34 days and we had to file an insurance claim on their damages they had caused. The company is refusing to issue us our deposit as a refund.
Update. For clarification I do not wish to ruin a reputation with images. I have added the original issue with my windscreen (Ball shaped crack). The first 2 images in the review are the cracks that happened due to the old windshield needing to be re-installed after.
Additionally. The company failed to let me know they “found my part” until after 34 days and me filing an insurance claim. I let the company know about the claim being already filed due to their inability to resolve the issue and the company my insurance company is utilizing immediately ordered my part. I let the company know so they did not have any financial burden.
The day after I let the very polite gentleman who handles all their phone calls know then the company decided they could get my part but, only after I told them my insurance was involved.
I am giving them an updated star only because their phone operator is top notch. Cannot say the same for those above.
Especially because they knew I was away on business and my family was left without a drivable car.
Again, they only finally offered to order my part once insurance was involved and ordered it already and they also raised the price from 222 to 600. I told them I have a 500 deductible.

Had a small chip that turned into a huge crack overnight.. jumped on the internet, did some searching and these where by far the most reasonable price, local firm, also quick to respond, clear communication, they ordered the glass and fitted within 24h. Paid a small deposit to secure the service.. Jason did an amazing job, looks absolutely perfect definitely recommend.. also cheap enough so as not to make a claim on the insurance as no doubt I’d get shafted on the next renewal.. unfortunately I didn’t get before photos but it’s a 10/10 👍 Thanks Guys

First class, If not business class service! Very attentive, Extremely helpful And extremely qualified to do the job. I had Jason Come out and adjust my passenger window, he handled everything with so much care, The way he removed my door card, the clips, all with such care so nothing breaks. Genuinely happy to recommend to anyone and will keep them in my phone book if I ever needed ago. Brilliant service!

My initial call was handled by Anthony, he gave me the quote which I accepted, the job was scheduled for next day. I received details of the process and received a call on the day from Jason, who was going to fit the windscreen, to tell me he was on his way to me. Jason made a great job of fitting the new screen, reattached the wipers and checked that everything was working correctly, all left clean and tidy. I was very impressed with the whole process from start to finish, especially the very good price quotation. I wouldn't hesitate to use Chips Ahoy in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs car glass problems sorted. Once again I thank Jason for the perfect 5 star fitting service and Anthony for his administration.

I cannot fault this company - from the time I contacted them, having spoken to Anthony - kept me updated on progress of my new windscreen arriving to Jason fitting same was all very professional and efficient. Someone broken my door window on Sunday afternoon in London Tower hill and when I come home I searched online someone able to fix my window on Monday because I needed my car. I got few quotes and I spoken on phone with autoglass( they given me a huge price and few days to wait) but after I got a text from chips ahoy windscreen with the price and availability next day(monday). The price was very good and I was happy because they say can do it on Monday. I answer immediately I paid the deposit and on Monday Ricky come and fit my window. Very happy with the service. I do recommend them. I was a little bit confused after reading the negative reviews here, but I choose to risk and go with them and I made a good decision. Very happy. Thank you for the amazing service.

I was called prior to the visit and told what time the fitter would arrive.
Jason was courteous and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and how long it would take.
Jason finished promptly and within stated time. He cleaned all glass, inside the car and surrounding areas.
I am really pleased with the work Jason carried out.

Quick and clean job! They gave me the appointment the day after I called and they were adjusting with my schedule! Alex has been very informative and friendly and he manage to explain me all the steps required to fix it.

Alex called 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time to let me know that he would be on time, on arrival he was well presented and give sound advice on a minor mark on the screen. The repair was completed to a high standard with no fuss.

Fantastic service. Called them at 10am querying price and availability to re-seal a windscreen, that was no longer secure. They came out within 5 hours in the pouring rain, removed and re-sealed the screen. Fantastic guys that done the work (Alex I think) and a huge shout to Anthony who took the call and ensured someone would come out same day. I cant thank and praise these guys enough, great job A*****
