TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Cancellation Fee/Deposit
A non-refundable cancellation fee or deposit of £80 will be charged for any service booked. This is due to the fact that we cannot return purchased glass, If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment or if a fitter arrives at your location and you are not present, the £80 deposit will be used as a call-out fee because your appointment cannot be replaced resulting in a loss of money at no fault of the company.
2. Call-Out Fee
If we are called out to a job and the service cannot be completed through no fault of our own, a call-out fee will apply at £80.
3. Mobile and Static Service
We offer both mobile and static services. If a mobile appointment is not available, we will require you to bring your vehicle to our specialist workshop. This also applies to any rectification work that may be needed.
4. Mobile Appointment Time and Availability
For mobile bookings, please note that no appointment or time slot is guaranteed due to potential unexpected delays. However, if everything proceeds as scheduled, we will make every effort to meet the agreed appointment time and date.
5. Stone Chip Repairs
Please note that when working on stone chip repairs, we are dealing with damaged glass. Although rare, there is a small chance that the chip may crack further during the repair process. If this occurs, a new windscreen may be required. In such cases, the additional damage is not our fault, and we still require payment for the service as agreed, regardless of the outcome. While this is an unlikely scenario, it is important to be aware that it can happen.
6. Payment Terms
All payments must be made in full upon completion of the job. Failure to pay will result in legal action, including small claims court proceedings, interest charges (8% per annum), and recovery fees for any associated costs.
7. Economy Glass Disclaimer
Please be advised that our economy glass products may contain minor scratches, blemishes, or imperfections. These imperfections are inherent to the manufacturing process and are not considered defects. By purchasing our economy glass, you acknowledge and accept that these minor visual imperfections do not affect the functionality or safety of the product.
If you do not wish to accept the risk of such imperfections, we recommend booking our Premium Glass option, which is also slightly thicker and offers a higher standard of finish, free from these cosmetic flaws.

The work they done on my Tiguan was not the best but not the worst and aside from leaving mess and broken glass in the vehicle the windscreen has stayed on and they did come at short notice. I would have omitted my review however, it seems this company is not as professional as they make out. They tried to force their way in front of me at a junction yesterday creating a dangerous situation when I had children in the car swearing and shouting abuse and blocking the road in front deliberately. The driver of YP16 if that is now your level of professionalism I dread to think how you are treating customers these days.

Anthony was so helpful over the phone, ensuring that I got not only a good deal but also honest and friendly advice. His communication from start to finish was great.Jason arrived to replace my windscreen, calling ahead to keep me posted of his arrival. He was super friendly, finished the job within the hour and left my car far better than when he found it.This was the first time in 25 years of driving to have a windscreen replaced and using this company certainly made me feel less annoyed about the damage and secure that a good job was being done.
In February of 2025, Paid my deposit and gave them our make, year, model, vin number, and let them know it was a United States import. The technician came out and installed the wrong part while damaging our windscreen worse. They could not resolve the issue over 34 days and we had to file an insurance claim on their damages they had caused. The company is refusing to issue us our deposit as a refund.Update. For clarification I do not wish to ruin a reputation with images. I have added the original issue with my windscreen (Ball shaped crack). The first 2 images in the review are the cracks that happened due to the old windshield needing to be re-installed after.Additionally. The company failed to let me know they “found my part” until after 34 days and me filing an insurance claim. I let the company know about the claim being already filed due to their inability to resolve the issue and the company my insurance company is utilizing immediately ordered my part. I let the company know so they did not have any financial burden.The day after I let the very polite gentleman who handles all their phone calls know then the company decided they could get my part but, only after I told them my insurance was involved.I am giving them an updated star only because their phone operator is top notch. Cannot say the same for those above.Especially because they knew I was away on business and my family was left without a drivable car.Again, they only finally offered to order my part once insurance was involved and ordered it already and they also raised the price from 222 to 600. I told them I have a 500 deductible.
1st class service . From Anthony who took the call and organised the fitting to Amos who did the work I could not praise them enough . Amos did an amazing job , very tidy and quick fitting . Not only that but he was such a pleasant guy ! I definitely would recommend this company .

Had a small chip that turned into a huge crack overnight.. jumped on the internet, did some searching and these where by far the most reasonable price, local firm, also quick to respond, clear communication, they ordered the glass and fitted within 24h. Paid a small deposit to secure the service.. Jason did an amazing job, looks absolutely perfect definitely recommend.. also cheap enough so as not to make a claim on the insurance as no doubt I’d get shafted on the next renewal.. unfortunately I didn’t get before photos but it’s a 10/10 👍 Thanks Guys

My initial call was handled by Anthony, he gave me the quote which I accepted, the job was scheduled for next day. I received details of the process and received a call on the day from Jason, who was going to fit the windscreen, to tell me he was on his way to me. Jason made a great job of fitting the new screen, reattached the wipers and checked that everything was working correctly, all left clean and tidy. I was very impressed with the whole process from start to finish, especially the very good price quotation. Someone broken my door window on Sunday afternoon in London Tower hill and when I come home I searched online someone able to fix my window on Monday because I needed my car. I got few quotes and I spoken on phone with autoglass( they given me a huge price and few days to wait) but after I got a text from chips ahoy windscreen with the price and availability next day(monday). The price was very good and I was happy because they say can do it on Monday. I answer immediately I paid the deposit and on Monday Ricky come and fit my window. Very happy with the service. I do recommend them. I was a little bit confused after reading the negative reviews here, but I choose to risk and go with them and I made a good decision. Very happy. I was called prior to the visit and told what time the fitter would arrive.Jason was courteous and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and how long it would take.Jason finished promptly and within stated time. He cleaned all glass, inside the car and surrounding areas.I am really pleased with the work Jason carried out.Highly recommend this fitter, and company.
Quick and clean job! They gave me the appointment the day after I called and they were adjusting with my schedule! Alex has been very informative and friendly and he manage to explain me all the steps required to fix it.I never write review, but this is well deserved!
Alex called 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time to let me know that he would be on time, on arrival he was well presented and give sound advice on a minor mark on the screen. The repair was completed to a high standard with no fuss.

Fantastic service. Called them at 10am querying price and availability to re-seal a windscreen, that was no longer secure. They came out within 5 hours in the pouring rain, removed and re-sealed the screen. Fantastic guys that done the work (Alex I think) and a huge shout to Anthony who took the call and ensured someone would come out same day. I cant thank and praise these guys enough, great job A*****
